“I booked the French Quarter of Free tour in Hanoi and my guide is an enthusiastic and kind university student named Quân. He picked me up from my hotel and he was very punctual. He took me to see the preserved turtle at Hoan Kiem Lake, a fountain in the French Quarter, a popular ice cream shop near the lake. During the tour, he spent time explaining the history of the places we visited. I really enjoyed my tour and have recommended this to my my friends”

We always enjoy free walking tours in any city we travel to and the free tours in Hanoi exceeded our expectations. First, we had a wonderful walking tour of the old town, then the prison tour with Linh who was amazing! She was knowledgeable and told us about the Vietnamese war stories. We ended up with an interesting experience at the Ho Chi Minh Complex, then went to West Lake to admire the view there. I would highly recommend free tours in Hanoi.

Our free tour was awesome! Hanoi street food is amazing, and our tour guide – Hoai was excellent. She showed how Hanoi locals would eat each dish and shared with us really interesting cultural aspects about different places. She speaks English confidently and she was supportive. Her friend, Dat, he’s enthusiastic but sometimes a little shy. We are grateful for this activity, and are impressed by how dedicated university students in Hanoi are

Today we had the great feeling of walking through Hanoi’s Old Quarter with Huyen and Thao, two energetic and enthusiastic guides who speak English fluently. There were four of us, so we had the opportunity to talk with them about life, culture, tradition and festivals in Vietnam. In the afternoon, they recommended a good place for us to eat bun cha. I highly recommend this free tour and especially Huyen and Thao who are interesting young women with good English skills
